Severin Safari Camp - Tsavo West National Park
Severin Safari Camp is hidden in the remote Kitani Wildlife area of Tsavo West National Park overlooking the Mt. Kilimanjaro. The eco friendly luxury camp offers a unique combination of adventure, wellness and relaxation for the sophisticated traveler who loves romantic pampering and unique wildlife experiences. Driving through the hot and dusty landscape with rolling plains, leafles bushes, twisted baobab trees of Tsavo West National Park, the Camp is a small haven with beautifully constructed tents, amazing dining, crystal clear pool and a pleasing spa. After a refreshing swim and a soothing massage, guests are treated with fantastic food at the lovely restaurant, whilst viewing the game coming to drink at the floodlit waterhole.
The Severin Safari Camp is set on 25 hectares of unspoiled bush land and comprises 2 Executive Suites, 4 Junior Suites and 21 Octagon Tents. The executive suite consists of two interconnecting tents with a private terrace and a top deck verandah overlooking the scenic Mt. Kilimanjaro; ideal for relaxing with a good book and a chilled drink. The bathroom is spacious with many exquisite details and has hot water shower, organic bathtub, flush toilet and hand wash basin.
The lodge style Junior Suite has en-suite bathroom with natural lights, flush toilet and hand wash basin. In addition one finds a separate lounge, a sun deck and best of all, a private courtyard with a lovely outdoor hot water shower. The Octagon Tent offers en-suite room with bathroom and a private terrace.
All rooms are furnished with large and comfortable beds, security box and wardrobe, 220V electricity, hairdryer and free wireless internet access. The Severin Safari Camp is moreover ideal for hosting conferences out in the bush. The Baraza Conference Tent is suitable for up to 30 persons and is equipped with W-Lan, DS-TV and modern presentation equipment.
We serve breakfasts, lunches and dinners in our a la carte restaurant. Guests are welcome to choose between a selection of delicious and carefully prepared meals accompanied by the finest South African wines. Our specialty is meat from the Kenyan highlands served on a hot stone or as fondue
accompanied with locally grown vegetables, salads and herbs.
Around the campfire one swap safari stories or simply enjoy the romantic feel of the African bush with its sounds and smells. Great varieties of wild animals seek the floodlit waterhole at night and provide amazing wildlife experiences.
